Patrick J. Burke

Pat is a CPA, an attorney, and has been the Managing Partner of Burke & Schindler since 1984. He graduated from the University of Dayton Cum Laude with a BA in Accounting and the University of Cincinnati Law School. Through years of experience Pat has become a respected expert in mergers and acquisitions, business financing, and deal structuring. Pat is passionate about helping entrepreneurs: he has advised over 200 successful start-ups and has brokered the sales of numerous businesses. Pat also has his Series 7 Securities License.
Pat also sits on the board of various organizations, including Boys Hope/ Girls Hope of Cincinnati, where he is a member of both the Finance and Development Committees, and previously served as Board Chair. In addition Pat is a member of the Board of Directors of both SMS Holdings and UASI. SMS Holdings is a $500 million Nashville based real estate services company where Pat Chairs the Mergers and Acquisitions, Compensation and Audit Committees. UASI is a Cincinnati based $25 million medical information company where Pat serves as Board Chair.
Eugene S. Schindler, Jr.
Partner – Burke & Schindler, PLL
Gene is a CPA and has been a partner in Burke & Schindler Strategic Partners and Tax Partner with Burke & Schindler since 1995. Gene has twenty six years experience, including nine years in the tax departments of Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young. Gene holds a B.B.A. Degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Xavier University. He also maintains his Series 7 and Series 66 Securities License.
Gene has extensive experience with closely held companies in the manufacturing, service, real estate, and contracting industries. Gene also has experience with business acquisitions/valuations and has served as an “expert” witness on a number of occasions.
Gene has served as Chairman of the Board of the Covington Business Council, CBC Foundation, St. Xavier High School Extravaganza Raffle, Treasurer of the Northern Kentucky Symphony; and Board Development Chair of Northern Kentucky Farmers Market. He also served 2 years on the City of Crescent Springs City Council. He is a graduate of Leadership Northern Kentucky and awarded one of Cincinnati’s “40 Under Forty” honor.
