Gene is a partner at Burke & Schindler, P.L.L. and heads the Tax Practice. Gene has twenty years of experience, including nine years in the tax departments of Price Waterhouse and Ernst & Young.
He has extensive experience with closely held companies in the manufacturing, service, construction, and contracting industries. He also has experience with business valuations and has served as an expert witness on a number of occasions.
Education
Gene holds a B.B.A. Degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Xavier University.

Gene is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Professional affiliations
Gene has served as Chairman of the Board of the Covington Business Council, CBC Foundation, Treasurer of the Northern Kentucky Symphony and Board Development Chair of Northern Kentucky Farmer's Market. He also served two years on the City of Crescent Springs City Council. He is a graduate of Leadership Northern Kentucky and has been awarded one of Cincinnatis 40 under Forty honor.
